ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Comments are 100% backlash and the yellow army aren’t being subtle. May have been a direction from the owner since he seems to be the source but the whole tone was wrong and should have been more a ‘we’re flattered that Monty was on their radar and shows what a great job he’s doing’ rather than taking about him missing out on a move.Just me or was the club sharing the story about Kilmarnock considering a move for Monty, a VERY f**king strange thing to do?
got a feeling it was a solo call by the new media guy going off how he runs his personal social media.
do not rate that at all.
You just don’t directly share a media source like that speculating about your coach.Comments are 100% backlash and the yellow army aren’t being subtle. i feel the same as well hopefully he learns from itJust me or was the club sharing the story about Kilmarnock considering a move for Monty, a VERY f**king strange thing to do?

did in end in kerBtw, it wasn’t Kilmarnock that were after him… it was some other SPL side starting with M?
Hmm, this is beginning to look like there's an ego problem. There was a smell of it with the Birraz media, oh he's so torn and emotional etc. If this becomes a spin pattern it'll be very obvious...and insincere.Very likely a direction from the owner
But would any media manager worth their salt also want to chat with Christo before pushing back too hard on the owner?Very likely a direction from the owner, but any media manager worth their salt would push back. Rightfully getting dragged on the socials for it.
Btw, it wasn’t Kilmarnock that were after him… it was some other SPL side starting with M?
Ah yes, my mistakeVery likely a direction from the owner, but any media manager worth their salt would push back. Rightfully getting dragged on the socials for it.

The last media guy was a pro, his social media activity last season boosted the profile and popularity of the club in a small way. Rich should’ve improved his salary like some of the players.CCM dont actually have a real media manager - someone hired a blogger. Just because someone can dig holes that doesnt make them a civil engineer. Its a totally different skillset.
Let go....or found something betterWhy was the guy from last season let go?
