ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
It also refers to Matty`s habit (over the years) of just clipping opponents ankles...without intent of course.its a "throwback" to the days of Norman Hunter, a very tough tackling Leeds player
"A tough tackling centre-half and defensive midfielder, he was nicknamed "Bites Yer Legs" Hunter. The nickname originated from a banner held up by Leeds United ..."

I'll acknowledge a cracker if it happens to us, I'm definitely not clapping a shitty deflection or tap in.Anyone else see that crazy person in the Coast News who is a Mariners member and thinks we all should politely applaude opposition goals ...fark moi , what a gibberer
Cheers Style, thanks for thatIt also refers to Matty`s habit (over the years) of just clipping opponents ankles...without intent of course.

That’s a pretty substantial fall from grace. Not even to one of the NPL tiers?Great to see Jacob Melling still has a love for the game and will turn out for Terrigal.
Yes and no. Depends what he wants to do/ He is 25 and not going to make it in the professional game in Australia. If he loves the game and wants concentrate on a non-football profession/trade then the step down is a good balance. He will also be a good player to mentor a lot of the younger guys at TerrigalThat’s a pretty substantial fall from grace. Not even to one of the NPL tiers?
