long bow, but could he be referring to the ESFA AA6 minor semi between USyd and Loko involving several players who've played either on the dinamo or loko sides over past seasons (that cove won 1-0 after converting the second of their two penalties)?

Did we beat them in the supporters club tourny at Valentine-Eleebana all those years ago? Or was that 1-1? All I can remember is beating the keeper at the near post off Rubbernose's through ball, and then drinking quite a bit.

That was against Liverpool. I had a thumping penalty saved by Jerzy Dudek.












By which I may actually mean that I lamely tapped a ball at chest height into the path of a very surprised and grateful Liverpool keeper who was not at all like Jerzy Dudek.

ESFA just had their Premier League Grand Final on before the Sydney FC game - would it be a totally off the wall idea to try to get on the big stage? Cove and Den played one on Suncorp back in 2006/7 I think...

would be a very good idea, but with the youths on soon and the womens playing on occasions it may be difficult

Have floated it past BenW, we'll see. May well not happen, but we can always ask and at worst be told no.

Might be worth mentioning to LG and Monique Marks too, and they might want to investigate having the CCF PL1 GF as a curtain-raiser next year too after the success of SFC doing it this season. Added about 400 to the crowd (which I know sounds like not a lot, but at ~17.50 a pop...).
