I say next round we let Mick and T bet $20 bucks each.

Of course you can bet $20 each, just though it a little pointless if you both put, as an example, $20 on a mariners win. Maximise options for maximum return

i reckon they should independently bet on the round. their chances of getting up are no better or worse than any other week for them betting simultaneously. if they independently put their minds to the task they've got as much chance as any time.

if ya wanna get really tricky, i'd throw one lot of money down very early, and then another very late to try to maximise opportunities for arbitrage, but hey... i only put a bet on a football match the first time the other night.
