During the first Tassie game someone wrote that his first touch was terrible.
Which was strange because I thought his first, second, third touches were fine.
It was his last touch that let him down. Missed the target on a few occasions after getting in a shooting position.

He pissed me off after the FFA cup game the other night though.
Beaming from ear to ear. Wooooooooo Hoooooooooooo, look at me I scored.
Yes, he scored a really flukey goal. Up until that point he had been a liability.
Maybe he didn't realise how lucky he was not to have been sent off.

I don't remember him from the Tassie game, but the FFA cup game was terrible - his first touch when he came on was to pump it 15 yards ahead of himself to run onto and easily picked up by a defender. Not to mention the fact that he picked up 1 yellow card when he should have picked up 3 and was inches away from giving away a penalty.

Look, he scored the goal and deserves to be grinning ear to ear. On one hand, it was just a lucky goal. On the other, would still have been easy to stuff that one up. And for years we've been the team to screw up those gifts.

Staj clearly sees something in him. In Staj we trust, perhaps?

I wonder how much an actual striker can take the pressure off guys like Majok and DDS and allow them to relax a little instead of psyching themselves out

This. Staj called it an ugly goal, which it was but let’s not pretend the bloke thinks he’s Ronaldo for putting that away. He does have a right to be happy that he got it regardless of anything else that happened. I’m sure he’s also very aware how close he was to getting a red and conceding a penalty as well. If somehow he wasn’t on the night he would have been made aware very soon after.

Now he's one of us, so let's not drag him down, let's try to encourage from the sidelines, and hope Staj makes something of him. He's already done better than Assdribble, Gamiero and the pommy from Aston Villa (yeah I know he's not, but the Scots don't want him, so...)
