ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

FFC Mariner - "been to any games lately" um, yes if you include just about every home game, sydney, newcastle, canberra and the last smashing at North Qld?? Yeah, we've probably been to more games than you. You go much

Enough to know why the bay moved and that away fans were moved ages ago. Oh and also the name of our players.

Do carry on though

Wouldn't you know that from this forum, not going to games?

there's a lot of things that happen that don't get a mention on here. Some of the finer details from the bay move would be one of these.

OK the plan was to move in order for the home end to be demolished and rebuilt.
Not much room at that end, so the Donny Parkes Stand was gonna be really steep and standing room only, but we were going to get a bar and a roof.

Unfortunately after the move there was such a decline in active support participation that the club figured we'd never fill the new home end, let alone cover the expense, so it was scrapped.

Now if we still want a bar, roof, & toilets, we'll have to stay where we are until we have a big enough group to justify renovations behind the goals.

That explanation good enough?

PS go easy on Helen311 - If my memory serves correctly, 311 is the US Police code for an Indecent Exposure charge so I bet hope there's a story behind how she got her username.
