I am posting this letter that my mum has written and sent to the Central Coast Mariners to put across the words and thoughts that so many of us supporters are thinking. I completely agree with everything and thought this letter needed to be put on the marinators site to share. Thanks!

'I am writing to let you know what the supporters feel, as they turn up,
me included to home matches and some of the away matches.
Players:, John Aloisi let go, he was a drawcard and great for the team
and the game of football, to have a Socceroo in our midst. ( I saw John
score the goal which got us to Germany for the Word Cup, and I was at the
World Cup 2006)
Andre Gumprect, how the crowd liked to watch him, how he moved up and
down the field and inspired everyone, how everyone cheered when he was on
he field, McKinna did not like him, so he went.
Sasho Petrovski how good was he, up front with Aloisi or Symonds, we
would not renew his contract.
Mrdja, how many years has he not played, McKinna likes him. How many
times does he miss the ball, even in front of an open goal!
Matty Symonds is brillian but left to carry the strikeforce and seems
to be burnt out, there is no senior play for him to be playing off
Other players change, how do we even know who is going to be in the
team from one week to the next.
There is no consistency, changing players everyweek.
The ground: 5 away matches in a row, then 'home' matches in
Canberra, only 5 hours to get to the game!
Then a run of home matches leading up to Christmas, and the supporters
are expected to drop everything and turn up.
The players seem to have no leadership or organsation at the club (not
on the field, Alex is terrific).
As with the attendances, the interest is waning fast, rather than the
highlight of the week, it is if I have nothing better to do I my go to
the game, or easier to just watch on TV.
Remember last year when the supporters, walked out of the last home
game, it was not worth watching.
Supporters: have been relegated to the worst area to watch the game
from, the Marinators were dominant behind the goals, so now moved to an
obscure spot with the sun in our eyes, to make it harder to see.
Are the club trying to kill off the game and the Mariners, this is
World Cup year and the club is killing our team.
Next year will we have a team.'
