ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Let's get Tiatto

I might start a thread called 'Let's get everyone who comes off contract with other clubs'

Y'know, let's do it. We'll merge this thread with the Dadi thread and string them all on from there.

TBF this one has merit as we are very weak on the left

And the answer is an ageing, injury plagued player who has serious authority issues?

I vote no thanks

For three to seven games i dont think we would find another that could do it.

Worth a shot

yes please, even if we do it NFL style and just have him as a penalty taker,
he has a viciously accurate right peg

Lets not.

The bloke is truly mental.

Resonable player but nowhere near as good as Musc**t.

I'd play Bojic at LB.

Yeah, if we'd had Tiatto, it'd have been different. We'd have finished with no more than 10 men on the paddock, and we'd all be worried as to whether McBreen would have recovered in time for next season.

Yep, happy to disagree.

I'm sure that playing an unfit, ageing lunatic at LB would have ensured that:

McBreen was tracked for the 2nd
We would have marked up for the 3rd
Our strikers would have buried their chances 2nd half.

Amazing that Tiatto could have done all that just on his own

You don't think there's any possibility that some passionate new blood (with excellent professional pedigree) might have inspired the team to something better than the listless performance we saw in the first half yesterday? The game was over after 15 minutes! There's no way that would have happened with someone the calibre of DT at the back. Wilko was pretty good (as usual), DV was safe enough when he wasn't being abandoned by the rest of his defence, Mrdja did everything but score, but apart from that?

We need a hard man that can also play football, to do for us what Muscat does for Melbourne. Obviously Tiatto's too old (and too mental) for the long term but he might have done a job for us this year.

Too late now.

If we wont spend any money to bring in the striker we have already signed, what makes you think the board would spend it on someone else?

Why were Glory allowed to make the swap? I thought those sort of things couldn't happen until the end of the season.

mcbreen and downey were released from their contracts. there was no transfer of registration, they ceased to be fury and glory players respectively and became free agents. that they happened to slot into each others' newly created vacancy is coincidental as far as the rules are concerned.

So that means that we could have signed McBreen early if we'd been quick enough off the mark?
Somehow I can't accept that it could have been that easy.

Whats so hard?

Can I come early please?

Thats a yes/no question. a 50/50 chance of getting it right.
