How is Labour making so many strides forward (Ha) in this set up relying on independants and the Greens to get them into power? How did she get into power in the first place? The fact is she is doing and has done a remarkable job.
It has to be Gillards crowning achievement but is being overshadowed by an opposition who rely on negative spin and hype (toxic tax, FFS how many times have i heard that) and the media and public are eating it up. There was a great article a few weeks ago in relation to Gillard (one of the papers?) and the fact that no other PM in history has copped as much nasty abuse as her and has had to answer to questions of morality from the media and her own peers that no other PM has had to. Never has there been as much made about a challenge for Leadership as in the "fallout" from Gillards successfull challenge. She copped it from left right and centre for doing something that has been common practice in political life on both sides. Why?
