    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

Joint Venture at Tuggerah for Club and Academy

Went to meeting yesterday to see the plans and to vote.

Greenlight go ahead for the development of Club Tuggerah or Mariners on Tuggerah.

7 playing fields, gym and pool that public can use, W League and Youth League games will be held at ground, Mariners will train at the grounds(can't wait) :vhappy: :vhappy:.  Also sports science etc to be state of the art and hopefully linked with University of Newcastle.  Function centres etc etc etc.

Tuggerah Soccer club will have high quality grounds/amenities and lights. 

Also futsal and 6 a side grounds.  Travelling teams will be able to train and stay at the facility.

ALL this and a ride across the back paddock.  I'm soooooooooo verrrrrrrrryyyyyyy happy.  What a Christmas present.

time line is something like this.

Approvals into council March 09

Design finalised June 09 into council for final approval

Plans back about September

then 14 months to build. 

I would love a job their.  BRING IT ON  :thumbup: :thumbup: :grouphug:
