ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I thought both Bojic & Porter failed to link up well with Osman & Heff on the flanks. Osman made some great runs off the ball when Porter was in possession and he cut back into the centre every time. It seems they can both pass to feet and make the overlapping run to create space but can't put the ball into space for someone in front of them. Also Osman took up a great position on the edge of the box towads the end of the game. If Simon would have slid it through on his 2nd or 3rd touch he would have been in on goal instead he stuffed around with it and passed straight to a defender. I suppose what I am getting at is that we lack vision all over the park and it is unfair to single out one player for our problems at the moment.

Can someone explain why Tobin is the problem?

Easy person to blame by those with no idea.
Perhaps, but then again his results (not scores) ie. actual play with the NYL was not encouraging. Still I am sure he is still learning his trade unlike some other NYL coaches with lots of experience.

People relate the drop in results with Fergie's departure.

In an unrelated issue, Jedinak left at the same time. ::)

Our results dropped off before January

interesting comment because our december record was 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss and we finished 2008 on top of the table

'Interesting comment' is being generous imo. :p

Top of the table will do me just fine.
