In 1966/67 United were crowned League Champions again and another season of European Cup football was guaranteed. This time, United would go all the way, beating Benfica in the final at Wembley. Jaime Graca equalised Charlton's headed goal to take the game into extra-time, but further goals from Best, Brian Kidd and Charlton gave United their first European Cup. Agreed Aloisi is a national sporting legend!!
He got us to the World Cup as part of an outstanding national team! His goal against Japan was outstanding. I can never forget what role he played in Australia getting to World cup!

Australia defeating a star studded English Team at Upton Park 3-1.
Sven replaced his whole team at half time when trailing 2 nil. Beckham was so dirty and wanted to go back on but Sven wanted to save embrassment so he replaced everyone!
It was in 2003 when Harry K was dominant and Tony Popovic scored with a header.
That was memorable especially having an english family and was the highlight of Frank Farinas reign in charge of the national team.
They have never wanted to play us since. I would love to see us play them at Wemebly one day and beat them at the Home of Football!!
