ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hutch's (apparently aborted) next move

Hutcho Hutcho man...
I wanna be...
REPEAT etc...

Hutch = CCM V SCUM DERBY LEGEND.

Surely for all future history within our club, Hutcho would always have to be selected in our first XI against a Scum select 11 - which would largely just feature the Griffiths family and Mario Jardel :piralaugh:

Well taken goal tonight and didn't put a foot wrong otherwise. I have always been consistent in saying Hutch can do a job for us. And he has again. So I hope peoples short memories can try to retain this fact for more than five minutes.
But I won't hold my breath ::)

He wears his heart on his sleeve and will always be one of my favourite mariners. Well placed goal tonight, just saw the replay and perfect aim into the bottom corner.
He is a good backup to rostyn.
we should keep him a part time coaching transition so he will stay with us. He is a true mariner

Hutch is God amongst my fanatical family. He is like the Tim Cahill of Malta. Seriously. People in Malta actually know about the Mariners because of him (and Wellington with Manny Muscat). So devo I didn't get his jersey.

Hutch "the Tim Cahill of Malta" - love it. Not bad for a Morwell Falcon! Thought his cameo was superb: cool and efficient on the ball, smoothly taken goal and one lunging snarling tackle. Just shows the depth of the squad.

Hutcho has been poor for last 18th months when he started to believe his own hype.

A fit and hungry Hutcho is a great asset to CCM and his cameo showed what he can do. He showed desire and effort and got the reward he deserved.

Hopefully its the beginning on Hutcho knuckling down and proving he deserves to start on merit and not because he is a foundation player.

Where to? Sad if true - a Mariner at heart, that his last match had him slashing home a winner over the scum is poetic.

If true, I'll miss the max bastard with the melon butt and the genuine hatred of the scum.

Indonesia most likely. If not there, still somewhere else. Unhappy at the Mariners due to lack of game-time. Very sad news :'(

Understandable. I don't think he's been deliberately frozen out, it's just that Rostyn is having a stormer of a season.

Is he playing in the Rebel indonesian League? Maybe he doesn't have any more desire to play for Malta again as this league is not sanctioned by FIFA. Maybe coming top the end of his career if the money is good enough then he won't mind

Darn :(
Loved hutcho ever since i met him down in Melbourne about 3 years ago,
And all his goals against Newcastle and Sydney (those two goals at sydney are still in my top 10) have made him a real fans favourite.

At the start of the season everyone was debating the first team selections & I said "I don`t think Hutcho would get much of a run with Griffith there".

Never in my wildest dreams did I think he wouldn`t see out the season with us.

I can understand his situation though, in seeking more game time. I just wish he had timed his departure at the end of the season so that he could be a part of our inaugural grand final win...I think he deserves that.

As one of the last foundation members I think it would be fitting to have a dinner in his honour, with his many fans.

Also a lap of honour & presentation at his final appearance would be justified.

I know I have criticised him in the past but I too will miss him & wish him all the very best for the future.

May the good memories live on!!!!!

If he goes, only 4 inaugural Mariners remain:

9 FW Nick Mrdja
18 DF Alex Wilkinson
19 FW Adam Kwasnik
23 MF Brad Porter (Short term cover)
