I'd rather it is used to lobby for an upgrade to the stadium. Some serious work needed.

There's no chance of an upgrade for a stadium that only 1/3 fills for half the year and is only full for 2 finals games and 2 weekends of NRL.

They could surely put a second level in directly above where the northern concourse is, giving shelter and o that concourse and adding several thousand to the capacity.

Wheels within wheels. Remember that the Bowling Club is under serious threat. At one stage they had a high rise on the concept plan with what looked liked an updated larger Northern stand.

If the right people with the right money come along anything is possible. The council is looking to sell that land.

Better bars where they dont have to have someone standing there opening cans all night while 100 people wait in line - that is so 2005 - and a roof that doesn't leak as much

The active support would be sooooo much louder with the roof that would provide.

All I want is steeper stands which would result in a wider concourse, and a roof over the northern end with safe standing in bay 16 which yes I know is a lot to ask but it would make it more of a football stadium.

There's probably a heap of space underneath the stands too that isn't being used properly?

I was thinking they could make the whole northern end GA and sell an extra 1000 or so tickets in their but that would force people to stand up crammed together which wouldn’t appeal to some people
