ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
I was giving Archies a second chance as I do with most places. One exception the bistro no longer at the CCLC. Several members of my family got food poisoning at that Bistro at CCLC. As far as the word chinese is concerned it is despised, not mentioned, thought or even eaten in our home. I remember my father in law who flew fighters in Korea for the RAF, whose funeral was paid for by the insistence of the RSL telling me the yellow peril is what you should be concerned about maybe not your lifetime but certainly your children's.
We got food poisoning at the Bistro not the restaurant.I guess you don’t eat pasta, ice cream or drink tea then?
And fyi, the owners and workers at the Leaguesy Chinese are from Hong Kong, not China. They have been here for many decades.
I like the casual dropping of the word succulent in there...hehe??? I'll concur the Chinese is on point upstairs, and as for archies, had a southern fried chicken burger from there the other night, was chicken in fish batter, wasn't happy.
As for Yellow peril? What the f**k does Eastern Existential threat theory have to do with eating a succulent MSG laden meal. If we decided to question our political persuasion with our eating habits we'd be down to bangers and mash, and freedom fries.
My mind went straight here as well...I like the casual dropping of the word succulent in there...hehe
*Bad words Warning*
Great post. Entirely agree. Staj is a fantastic coach but everyone still has things to learn and improve. It has taken me fully 48 hours to look at the forum after Saturday night’s disappointment and I still haven’t been able to bring myself to watch the game on replay yet….. I had to console myself with watching our NPL boys smash SD Raiders at Pluim to take away some of the hurt, so well done to Monty’s charges for their performance yesterday.
For me the simple truth was that Staj sadly didn’t have the courage to change up the system once they went down to 10 men, preferring to persist with a narrow formation (as he has for much of the season), when width and pace was what was needed. Casella and/or Hatch could have given us the needed lift and we should have been taking the game to Mcarthur more than we actually did when we had a man advantage and not seemingly holding out for extra time. I certainly don’t hold Staj to blame entirely but he has shown a tendency to hesitate on making changes when they are clearly required and that is something he will need to work on moving forward.
IMHO I would have preferred to lose a thriller 3-2 than slide out 2-0 against 10 men. We saw what some of the fringe players could bring against WU the weekend before, so it is disappointing that Staj couldn’t seem to trust them again this weekend.
As others have said, this was a huge and perhaps unexpected improvement on recent seasons past but it cannot just be a one off and the even harder work to improve further next season should not be underestimated.
All that said, it was great to want to watch the boys again each week and I truly hope that the club can keep the core of the team together for next season.
COYY!
Second that, Cassella may be young, skinny and naive but he is full of spunk and quick to explode, He makes a mess of things at times but ialways gets in the heat of the action.......

Yep , it’s only coz we love our Mariners so much that we feel the way we do. just looking at the Forum now. Still gutted and mildly depressed. All those Coasties that came for the first time in a long time - they must have been so disappointed too. Time for a glass or two.No, neither could I. Been avoiding it most of the day.
Turned on to watch the last 20 minutes of the other game today.
Then took a look at the forum.
And now fox are showing our game. Time to turn the computer off again!

mcbreen scored exactly the same way against the drive bye's in the first season at parra parkSo we were robbed. Just watched the highlights of Euro games, Bel vs Rid, Belgium's first goal was same situation as our goal and guess what, it was given.
I don't want the divers to take the glory.Oh god please let it be anyone but Adelaide.

Beat me to it, nicely done MelangeYou need to credit your sources. I'm sure I read that on the back cover of a porn flick back in the day.
