ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

One day we will break this hoodoo of not beating 10men and when we do it will probably be against you guys in the finals. We just have no luck!

Didn't Aloisi get the winner?

That loss was heartbreaking.

Two down, actually... and we have barely blinked an eyelid. Not bad considering the two players gone are arguably two of the most influential players on the park.

I'll see your two men down and raise you 5 men out: Elrich, Gumprecht, Heffernan, Owens and Vukovic. Add to that Clark with the flu last week. And, at various times in previous rounds, we were missing Simon, Caceras, McAllister, Boogard and Jedinak. Melbourne should be very scared of us; the side really hasn't had a chance to gel as yet. Having said that, I'm not looking forward to losing Bozza.

You could add 1 mrdja too.

In my opinion its only n issue losing bozza or vukovic cause we got one or the other if both r out then theres issues.

I think the reason that Melbourne keep winning & drawing games where we really shouldn't be getting anything (last weekend included) is the mental toughness we possess. We aren't/shouldn't be scared of anyone, because there are no "unbeatable" teams in this league.

and it was there in spades the week before against adelaide. smart smart counterattacking football mixed with completely stubborn none-shall-pass defending = results.

melbourne earned their last 4 points the hard way. we on the other hand, did most things right and largely played attractively (ignore the 2nd half in wellington where we forgot the word 'width' and started playing dopey chips over the defence from 40m out) and got 2 points...

I have a problem.  Friday night is my GF's mothers birthday, and they are insisting that instead of going to the football and showing my support, that I attend some boring as grass dinner on Friday night to celebrate her birthday.

My question is, will the judge be lenient if I kill them all and go to the football?
