ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

You would imagine that they cant double allocate any seats already sold to SFC members though so people will be split up all over the place in a half empty stadium.

Will be odd

If the NRL can figure out how to organise a double header, I think anyone can...

Much better than last season although I still don't think we should be moving home games regardless of where it's to_Only a small fraction of our home support will travel for the Perth game in Sydney........they're either banking on that or bloody stupid and asking for trouble.

Just highlights the need for football on the coast to have its own home.

And I wonder how many teams we need to have in the league before the FFA and fox realise that not *every* game has to be televised live ? Or will we just have a game on every night of the week ?

this

fox loves weekday games as it fills holes in their programming

is the reason why there are so many midweek games for basketball

So if it's all about TV ratings, Fox should pay more to compensate for drop in attendances at the grounds..? Sounds fair to me.

Given that it is our "home" game, would you expect more than our normal travelling support to go to SFS?

Be v interesting to see if the club sorts members out with tickets like the Canberra disaster

So what if it is a "home game", will struggle to get 10,000 for the Mariners game at the SFS..
Lessthan 10,000 in a 40,000 capacity ground. :ashamed:

Plus the usual 12k that SFC will get allows it to be publicised as a 22k crowd.

Mind you, we wouldnt get 10k to Perth at BT so I dont hold out much hope at the SFS

Hopefully they promote the shit out of it, being a bit of a novelty and all... "yaaaay, double header".

But then again:

Talk is that the double header will be reversed and we will play the second game.

This is to accomodate the Sydney members as much as possible.

It makes sense. Id guess alot of sydney fans on the sides would stay to watch a 2nd game, and the cove would probably be happy to stay if they win earlier to lay it into our boys

If Sydney fans stay though doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?  ie.... sydney fans move on from sideline seats etc. allowing CCM fans to fill them up?  If we stay, the same problem will exist.

No, I don't think so.
If Sydney play first, then theoretically the Sydney fans will be in their seats first, avoiding the need to ask Perth of CCMFC fans to move out of them.

I'm guessing a fair bit of room in the away end.

Hopefully us and Perth can band together to hold off the Caxton St Elite. They are savage
