ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Beond, that would be great, but if you could have seen our key active supporter bays up close yesterday, you would understand. It was made up of people of all shapes, sizes, age and sexes, in pretty evenly spread numbers. We just don't have five thousand 15-30 year old males that want to jump and sing for 90 minutes each week - which is what comprises the bulk of the A league active supporter groups " It's our reality. We are a small community club. And I couldn't be prouder. To be a truly great league, we need great small clubs in Australia as well as the great big ones such as WSW is shaping up to be.

FP yeah I read that from @marinerfish (in my twitter feed) regarding demographics, hopefully this win encourages more of that demographic to turn up.

The singing is understandable as you said, 'pride in the colours' (flags etc) is more achievable I think (you guys maybe doing it now, I dont know - only watched 2 live CCM games and ones rained out).

I guess, if I where in your position (active support wise), you can't really do much but encourage little things at certain point in the game ie.goal celebrations -flag waving (club merch ones even) or club anthem (can't really remember if you had one at the Gosford game).

I think this is where we won the battle - We stood as one & never sat down. There was an older lady (short to) with her Son I presume & after kick off she asked the people in front to sit they just looked at her (with respect - & thought to themselves are you Fn kidding) then said sorry the people in front of us are standing so we have to (no effort made to ask the people in front of them sit down - Ha ha). Instead of whinging the older lady did what was expected & stood up & cheered as much as she could - She had a sit down when she could but she was up most of the game & gave a fantastic effort. Much Respect to her.

Then the 8-10yr old (short as well) next to my Wife - He stood on his chair & screamed his little lungs out. Much respect to him to.

The RBB are all young & fit & capable & are a terrific sight but the families on the sides of the stadium for WSW had nothing. Thought they were at the Rugby league & you only stand when a player makes a break down the wing.

We might not be as loud but we stood as one. Now WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS

The chant [for me anyway and lots of home fans who are not home end folk] that was picked up was the clap clap COAST ... bloke I was next to said it was a chant often used ... I had never heard it and have been to most matches..

Maybe we need to get some folk in the stands signing at our games ... but as feedback ... the clap clap COAST has now seeded in many minds ... a drum with some folk in the stands signing IMO could become a stadium chant...
