ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I’ve had about 3 hours sleep and another little cry before that, my throat physically hurts and I sound like Barry white but I’m still so incredibly happy and proud.
From this point onwards, Monty can do whatever the f**k he wants. Give him the keys to every single building and structure that exists on the central coast. Rename one the grand stands at Gosford after him, literally build a statue. Do something monumental in return for this feeling he’s given us. I’m never EVER doubting a single thing that man does, I’m embarrassed that I ever did doubt his tactics early on. I’m a fool. But I f**king love that man.

The morning after , all still seems so surreal.
From where the club was only 3 years ago, to Champions of the A-League is nothing short of amazing.
No words can adequately describe the praise for everyone involved with what accumulated over those few short years from from wooden spooners to A-League Champions.

That was magical, we showed CFG up for the frauds they are.

You can have all the money in the world but you can't buy that!

After 4 wooden spoons, two losses to NPL sides and a over 30 game in person win less streak for me nothing could be sweeter. Made extra special to absolutely demolish CFG.

Did Scott Jameison refuse to do the losing captain speech?
I heard he refused to play too.

How to sum up last night,
The sheer happiness turned into pure disbelief and then quite a few tears,
I’ll be completely honest I had given up on us ever getting back to this sort of position given where we were,
But every bit of pain and heartache is worth it for this feeling,
This group of players and staff have shown what pure hard work and belief can do,
Forever Loyal.

WE ARE CHAMPIONS

Still trying to pull some cohesive thoughts together after a night for the ages but one thing is for certain, our boys completely and utterly deserve to be Champions of Australia 2023.

That they finished second in the league and then completely demolished the most affluent and supposedly ‘best’ team in the competition with such style speaks to the true character and underlying determination of our club and the hard work ethic that they have truly all bought into under Monty and Sergio.

Occasions like last night remind us all of why we love being a part of this club and is something we should all treasure given the fall and rise since 2013. The amount of hard work that was required to get here cannot be overstated and it has take the boys 3 years to get to this pinnacle. Sadly, the challenge will now be to keep as much of this squad together as the club can, as a performance like we just witnessed, will have suitors queueing round the block unfortunately.

So, let’s all enjoy this moment and appreciate this team and these players whilst we still can and no doubt there will be plenty of bleary-eyed fans and players at Erina Fair this afternoon.

Thank you CCM for giving us all such wonderful memories to take with us for the rest of our days. ??

Personal shout out to Mrs OH who was very poorly but was never gonna miss last night, she showed just the the sort of resilience and character that our boys did and was my WOTM. ❤️
