ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I’m in the US, been working like a dog until early hours all week, completely exhausted, but do you think I won’t be bedecked in yellow and badgering my co-founder to watch the game with me at 2.45am??

He’s never been a fan of football (French, watched the WC when they’re winning), but he’d always watch the mariners with me when we’d be trapped in some horrible hotel in Silicon Valley. Pizza and mariners, it became a sacred event. We always believed there was an inverse relationship between Jig and Mariners - they went down as we went up. Turns out we’re doing better than ever right now…maybe we got it wrong.

Can’t wait. COYY!!!

I'm sure Vince Rugari's story in today's SMH was well intended, but isnt it a bit offensive to compare the Mariners to the sadistic toy mutilating kid in Toy Story. I also doubt that Nizzy will be thrilled to be publicly referred to as "Little Hasbulla"

Apart from Rugari's article the only other mention in the SMH was a brief and dismissive column filler by Peter Fitzsimons about how this GF is hardly registering as newsworthy. Some truth in what he says about the A-league being nearly invisible especially compared with the coverage of the Socceroos.

He writes that both teams are virtually anonymous and the players' names are unknown.Maybe Matt Leckie should make himself known to the Rugby loving Fitzsimons.Fitz couldn't even bring himself to mention that he spent a large part of his childhood on the Central Coast( Peats Ridge) and give a shout out to the Mariners.

Expected nothing less from that prat. He spends too much time in scrums with his head up other's arses.
