Are you sure those stats are not true? Remember we played Newcastle at a Neutral Venue. So that Stat is right. We did miss a pen this season in round 3 but it was Kwasnik.

Point Simon was making was that our game was at a Neutral venue whilst all other games were at home grounds. When it is a a Neutral venue their is no home or away teams.

I really enjoyed the game; tense, dramatic, a mighty arm wrestle with neither side giving an inch, It isn't always about the beautiful game and nor should it be. My only criticism of the ref is he should have carded Muscat much earlier in the first half for his attempts to run the game. It was so bad in the first half that even Langerak ran 30 mtrs from goal to complain. The FFA has to take a stronger line on this. I thought the crowd was great and Sydney fans are quite superb. Tough luck on Archie but about time the luck ran against Melbourne - they must have found it hard to play against 11 men for the full 90!

Imo SFC were lucky Archie went or they would almost certainly have lost that game.

Roy disagree with your post, for once, I like a good arm wrestle and appreciate strong defensive play, but that was still a very drab game I thought - and also thought Delovski let SFC get away with too much and MV's whinging was fairly just several times. Agree with FFc.

Re Archie, just horrible seeing that happen to a player... No GF, no more ACL, No possibility of a WC call up... Looked devastated. Class player, class guy... very sorry for him.

Also Bolton still looks wounded... He's been exceptional this year.

But... you cannot fault Sydney's determination and organisation...
