Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Watch out for the 'white shoe brigade'

I believe that it is the stadium that is setting the ticket prices cause the Titans cost the exact same.

United need to alter their stadium deal in order to get a decent crowd like the Roar have done.

These prices are ridiculous for a sport that's trying to establish itself in the region.

Fair enough if we were watching EPL standard football but we're not.

Being a "franchise" you would think the FFA had some sort of input into ticket pricing ?

Roar season tickets are far more expensive this year, so cant see their normal day to day prices being cheaper

$95.

Are they taking the piss??

For Platinum seats, serious. Don't worry, you are probably banned from buying these sort of seats, they don't want YOUR type up there with the knobs. ;) :D

The minute you type in the Central Coast postcode for online ticketing, or confirm your address with an operator online, those tix would be 'unavailable', lol.

My bad.

Maybe they could do what ANZ Stadium does and let the club/national side/whoever set the ticket prices and take all income from them whilst the stadium takes the $$$ from food and drink sales.

Otherwise they will be struggling to get 10k+ crowds even if they go undefeated in the league..

Newie, if you have a look at roars website you will see their GA tickets are only $2 cheaper than GC and some others are the same or a little more than GC. It's only the better seats that's expensive & they are the smaller numbers.
BTW.....most if not all stadium managements run the catering and receive it's income. It's part and parcel of paying millions for the management contract. It would cost many times more what aleague clubs, or any other party hiring stadiums presently pay to also 'buy' catering rights.

or maybe its an advertising trick to make the GA look like great value in comparison with other seats.

By the way i wouldn't mind paying GA prices if the team wins 5-0 ;)

Geez, that's a bit rich. It seems they don't want good crowds causing long delays at the food outlets..lol. Lucky the owner is so well off because he will be subsidising poor crowds until the seating prices take a dive or he buys Ronaldo, Messi or Kaka.
