ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Agree Michael, although if you look at both the lists there are about 20 out of 50 who played or got some game time in the A League.no it doesn’t, who out of that list we’re playing week in week out? They’re all former youth players for us.
If anything it shows the extremely flawed youth system in this country. 95% of an NYL team won’t be given a professional contract. Because their simply isn’t enough room or money in the game.
Working over in Denmark as a scout now I believe! Is Ryan Peterson back from his sojurn in the US?
I think that applies to most academies around the world. The % who make it is very small I believeno it doesn’t, who out of that list we’re playing week in week out? They’re all former youth players for us.

Yeah even if you have a look at clubs academies at the top of the food chain in world football, there aren't particularly many who go on to have professional contracts.I think that applies to most academies around the world. The % who make it is very small I believe
Zac Anderson and Isaka Cernak also played for Brisbane Olympic in this game.Ben Can, Steve Whyte and Shelford Dais win their opening game:
