Last season, to my surprise, I found my ire for Bling had outgrown Scum... and then even that has grown significantly less now they are no longer under Kossie... Then in recent times... slowly but surely GCU have begun to really piss me off...
Then after that shitty game... I go on 442 to see this...

Why on earth would anybody pay good money to watch Central Coast Mariners?
Kristian Rees was clearly sleep-walking when he lazily lifted a leg to block Matt Simon's header. I was half asleep when Smeltz scored the equaliser 30 minutes later, and the game finally came to life.
Actually, I missed the Kiwi star's goal because I was staring in a semi-hypnotised state at an on-field official's bum. The Mariners will do that to you.
Even their supporters are boring. What's with that slow, quiet drumming? Dom... Dom... Dom... It's like listening to a dripping tap.
But that's Lawrie McKinna's game, innit? He tells his big, strong boys to sit back, hold the ball, and be patient. Forget about entertaining the crowd, winning is all that matters. Dom... Dom... Dom...!
Anyone sitting behind the team from Terrigal on the A-League ladder should be embarrassed. But finding yourself 17 points adrift on goal difference is just Emo territory.
Miron Bleiberg's team are supposed to be entertainers, right? And once upon a time, if you can remember, they really were. So whatever happened to that team?
Well, there were some encouraging signs that the spirit of Jogo Bonito is still very much alive and well at Skilled Park.
Let's start with Andrew "The Barracuda" Barisic, who scored seven goals for the youth team, plus many more in pre-season, before finally sinking his teeth into the Mariners. I was only one of many fans to nominate the big, slippery fish as a danger this week, and I hope we'll be seeing much more of him.
Culina and Caravella were generally creative in midfield, while Jess Vanstrattan looks to be getting comfortable at last between the posts. Smeltzy's uncharacteristic misses had me thinking he might have woken up early (unlike his captain - http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/i-am-satisfied-with-our-group-264622) to watch the FIFA World Cup draw. If so, who can blame him?
Then there's Tahj Minniecon, whose deft flicks and exciting runs must have stopped many TV viewers flicking channels in the first half. The youngster's game is clearly lifting after his overseas jaunts with the Young Socceroos, and it will be a joy to watch him rip apart the Brisbane Roar's defence on Boxing Day.
Tahj might even get a little help from his old mate Charlie Miller, who starts training with United on Tuesday. The burly Scotsman might be just the attacking spark we need up front, but he'll have to work hard on the training paddock if he wants a run.
Actually, I'm a bit worried about playing Brisbane. Our Round One victory set them on a path of misery for the season, and their coach was sacked shortly after our second demolition job. What will happen after yet another good smacking from the neighbours? Nuclear meldown?
Oh well, at least it should be exciting. We might even manage to draw a crowd! We're off to avenge our first-ever loss to Newcastle next week, then we have a string of four home games over the New Year. Why would you go anywhere else for your Christmas holidays?
In retrospect, maybe we were lucky to play Lawrie's lads right now. With a small crowd in the stands and a lack of urgency on the pitch, this game sure felt a lot like a training match. Maybe it was. And maybe this was just the slow, steady workout Gold Coast United needed to wake up, turn our form around, rediscover some long-lost confidence, and set up an exciting race to the finish line.

Well your certainly arrogant aren't you Gazza.
Which astounds me. I thought by now you lot perhaps would have learnt at least a smidgeon of humility and grace...
Hows the unbeaten record going mate?
But what astounds me even more, is what a truly crap supporter you are.
"The games not interesting enough for me, so I wasn't even paying attention when we scored... I was staring at some blokes ass"
Me, I enjoy praising good football where ever I see it. Regardless of what team it is, and in all its forms.
Of course I love seeing players skinned and goals, but my appreciation of the game encompasses everything from substitutions to off ball runs, man marking and heaven forbid - good defense, closing down, spirit and shape.
I love and appreciate the game in its wholeness and as such I tend to enjoy most games I see. The game may give me great excitement and gratification at times, but it is not just my adrenalin whore. I do not expect it to slavishly keep me in a perpetual state or orgasm or otherwise I will heap shit and disdain upon it. This is not the act of a football lover. Its the act of the spoilt and petulant tosser. An attitude that well befits a team with Culina as Marquee and Clive Palmer as Owner.
As to your question... Why would anyone pay money to see the Mariners play?
Because regardless of whether its wiping the snide smirks off conceited wanker teams like Fold Coast in 3 nil thrashings, or watching our team get demolished or play out another lack lustre draw - WE LOVE AND SUPPORT OUR CLUB. Yo should try it. CCM is run and managed by people who have worked tirelessly in their local community, and even harder on the field. Under cashed and with the smallest demographic to draw fans from in thugby dominated area - somehow we have managed to win hearts and eek out a place for ourselves and even sneak some silverware along the way.
Then along comes the cashed up GCU tossers... WIth their ludicrous claims, embarrassing crowds, humiliating caps and now arrogant football judgements...
Here's a question for you...
Why would anyone pay good money to watch Gold Coast United?
Short answer...
They blood well WON"T will they!
But hey, keep up the arrogance and negativity, it's working a treat for you so far... The people of the Gold Coast are flocking in in droves.
Or alternatively...
Stop embarrassing the league with your continual displays of arrogance and stupidity or f**k off and give the license to someone like the south coast or canberra who might actually appreciate what they have and have a modicum of humility and grace about it.
Fury might be at the bottom of the table, but they are an innnnnfinitely better addition to the league than GCU.
Pull your head in.
Git.
