My overall favourite DAY of 2008 was the 3-3 away.

Playing football with Dinamo, winning football, attending football, epic comeback, and one of the best celebration nights ever in the KB.

for me it certainly was.

the result was so-so, the performance so-so, the weather shit and i had to hurtle up the freeway in order to get there 38 minutes in, by which point i'd missed the good bits.

but it was still our first ever match in asia, and i'll always remember it.

#1. Boxing Day. Being plastered before even getting on the train was...well...amazing. Then nearly getting into a fight from some british chaps.

#2 Being flung over the seats at the Grand Final in Melbourne, nearly fracturing my pelvis. (ty to those involved)

#3 Brisbane...the away game that WASN'T raining and we DIDN'T lose. Awesome awesome weekend. So many beers...

#4 Melbourne...the November trip. No win, but clearly the best birthday ever!

#5 Flares. They were purdy.
