ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. I'm loving FIFA 09. I've created my own player, Striker of course and have him in the Mariners starting squad, and I'm playing as myself in the Be A Pro Season mode, which I'm loving more then manager mode and am captain of my team (UCB from Ireland) and the Socceroos.

ANyway, FIFA 09 is awesome. There is still some tweaking that could be done...I can't get the hang of the freekick mechanism...I know I'm crap but still..I liked 06 FK.

i hit a long ball from the freekick and the ball bounced over the keeper's head
i also found that in one-on-one's with the keeper you are better off passing the ball past him rather than shooting
