ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Thanks, :(
Blast! So no TV and no stream!

I'm not convinced that locking out stream providers of the non televised games to favour Foxtel's one game per week coverage is the best way to promote football. Maybe FFA should rethink this strategy because there must be heaps of footy fans who have little interest in watching the televised game but would watch a stream of one of the other games. Even if there were a "pay up" option to view a stream of our game I would do it. I'm not going to go somewhere to watch the Foxtel coverage just to get score updates of our game.

Thanks.;) Yeah I've got a few other online options too. But it still doesn't allow us to see the match unless it's on Foxtel, which it isn't. I completely understand the financial reasons by the FFA in protecting the Foxtel coverage, being a major sponsor and all, but allowing non Foxtel games to be streamed isn't going to damage their viewership, is it. Greedy? Much!

I agree massive missed opportunity to build up the fans base and have people follow their team through their entire cup run which would increase the interest for the Foxtel games.

I find this a bit strange http://www.ccmariners.com.au/article/ffa-cup-a-look-at-olympic-fc/1bnfdeyw83kue146h5uxsoober
We aren't travelling up for the game until tomorrow? Won't the lads be a little bit tired from all the travelling. Just to save a night's accommodation? Surely that's not the reason. A two and a half transit/wait time to board the aircraft at mascot, a 1 hour flight to Brisbane, a 1 hour disembark and transfer to the venue. What's the go?

Compared to the travel arrangements of previous seasons (Overseas & back within a few days of a grandfinal) I can`t see any problem with what`s arranged.

We did this to Perth last year so this should've a breeze. Also we flew in and out on the same day last Friday for the Roar game and the boys looked quite sharp.

Is anyone familiar with the following : http://www.football-goalslive.com/g...C-vs-Central-Coast-Mariners-Australia-FFA-Cup
Might be possible to watch the game after all.
From that link:
"intellectual property rights to stream such events are usually owned at a country level and therefore, depending on your location, there may be certain events that you may be unable to view due to such restrictions."
It might be geo-blocked.
Also it's bet365 so you will need a funded account. :(

Yeah - granted, the time difference was a large part of the consideration then, but didn't Moss hint at something along the lines of the players being better after having slept in their own beds, at home, or some such thing?

I'm thinking that will be the Victory game. That's the only game that will have cameras at it that they could get the stream off.
They wouldn't be able to get the stream off the single cameras at the other games that are just for highlights.
VPA do their streams off 1 or 2 cameras, don't they. Better than no vision at all, maybe. It was interesting seeing the stream of the Lismore game after I came home from there. They only had one camera in the top of the grandstand and one very small camera on a tripod in the presentation area in front of the main stand. Did you see that coverage? Was it acceptable? :) Same could go for any game not covered by Foxtel.
Foxtel, of course, have their commercial quality to consider so will only do a coverage with all the bells and whistles, so, yes, no one camera coverage from them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I said yes to a shift at work tonight based on the fact I didn't believe there would be a video stream of our game, and as such I'd be unable to sit around at home, watching the lads go 'round, and drinking beer. If it turns out there is a decent stream, imma have to kick someone's arse.

Agreed.Stuck at work until 8.
Honestly though I'll eat my shoe if there is a stream.Only way it will happen is if someone holds a camera over the fence.
