I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with the formation/structure and strategy.

There is a distinct lack of natural flow in moving the ball forward from the backs into the midfield and so on.

We run twice as hard as we should be in defence and in attack.
Passing to players who are already pressed and lack room.

All players move well into other positions of the park without a solid conviction of what they are trying to achieve.

Some great fitness and pressing, determination and defensive tracking but everything else is disjointed and messy.

Need to slow down and simplify!
Unless the tactic is to run around in multiple directions swapping positions in order to confuse and make opposition dizzy. Lol.

Throughout preseason we've attempted to score from crosses a loooooot. We're not much good at that.
Few real strikes from in front, comparatively. Considering the ball players we have we should be weaving and passing our way in and taking shots. Hope we work in this.
