Feedback Needed Quickly And As Much As I Can Get Please.

I was thinking of organising a pre match Playstation / Xbox FIFA comp. Would there be any interest for it in the Kendall?
It could be organised into teams with final game against Newcastle on the 6th Feb. I'm going call EB to see if the'll come foward with help or maybe sponsor it. What do you think let me know ASAP please.

I was talking to dave whose idea it was and we were thinking of running either a knock out comp  or league with finals depending on the numbers.

Free entry

The games would be 10/15 mins long with penalty shoot out if draw.

The teams would be made up of two players. Underage would have to have adult in team as we want it to be a bit of fun for every one, not just the masters.

The hope is the comp would start on first home game on 12th dec. Would be shown on big screen and plasma in Kendall every home game untill the final on the Feb 6th game against Newcastle.

We are as you know the only pub with its own dedicated ALeague team area. So why not the only dedicated electronic football comp.

Of course it is all dependant on logistics, sponsorship, use of game box and prizes. Also  someone to set it up each game day. Some one to set up fixture list and so on. importantly as it's our first time patience from all.

I am hoping to have a group of organisers by next home game in Nov.we will meet on game day. I will have a few set people but all are welcome to put their hand up.

Poko if you could you send your friend details to    charles.friel@cclc.com.au. If you could also do a bit/lot of the ground work it would be apreciated a great deal. Willing to ring him on Monday.

Who knows if it takes off we could extend it next season to the away game showings.

So any ideas and more feed back over the weekend would be apreciated.

Sorry mate, your flogging a dead horse. You can prefer your ancient PES but thats all it is, personal preference.

I was, as you are, a dedicated PES man and wouldn't even look at the Fifa series. For the last 3 releases i have bought both, and played both due to the absolutley woeful excuse for a game that was PES 08.

PES 08 i took back, 09 I played a few times, and 10 still doesnt fix the ground lost since 06. Master League was the only reason i bought 09 and now with the improved Management mode and Live season in Fifa 10, i dont know why i even bought PES this year. Old habits die hard and its probably only PES 06 that keeps me coming back.

Fifa on the other hand has got better and better and better, and continues to think of new additions. Ultimate team for example was brilliant and i could still be playing 09 quite happily. Be A Pro is like having a totally different game along for the ride.

I understand your attachment but it doesn't excuse you from spruking a game 4 years old as being superior to a next generation game.
