I was simply mesmerised and am extremely heartbroken to see him leave.

I'm 2 months off 40.  Carrying 20 kilos too much  My knees are shot, I can barely run.  I last played over 20 years ago and it took over a week to recover.  But if it fell to me as the last one on the pine I'd grab it by the bollocks and play my heart out.  I'd probably f**k up royaly but I'd never stop trying.  And even though I'd be close to a heart attack I'd have a smile on my face you'd never wipe off and 15 minutes of memories that would last a lifetime.

Tell me one person who wouldn't do the same if they got the chance ...

At a testimonial at Fulham a few years back they auctioned a spot and one lucky guy got to take a penalty at the putney end (during the game) and scored against the filth.
