ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I know its Dylan's thread, but massive boooo to Bozza for not walking round the ground after the game, poor form IMO

Would you walk around take the wrap if you were sitting in that heat and watched that game and not been able to get a run.

I am sure he was doing media work inside for us and could not get out if you were that keen you should have went around the back to talk to him as he was the last player to leave ( as he has every week ) the ground he was talking to SBS as he said.

Yes, I would walk around the ground. He owed it to the fans to take an extra 2 minutes to show his appreciation IMO

Never said I was keen to talk to him, already did on his 1st training session with us, but the other 9,000 fans who had watched him every week deserved a last goodbye IMO

+1
we welcomed him to our club with open arms, and no thank you, except to those rich b*st*rds

I'd like to see him start this Friday but its tough deciding between Simon & Sasho for the subs spot.

I'd probably start Sasho with Macca and bring simon on at half time for whoever is not performing.

BTW how long till Mrdja is right to play??

It is all good lawrie saying competition for places up front is good. But this week he needs to put macca in to give simon a kick up the arse. Sash worked harder than ive seen him work in the 2nd half of any game.

Simon needs to be on the bench so he redoubles his effort. Is the only way competition  for places works

Sorry, am I the only person who can see no reason for dropping Matty tonight?

He runs his ass off, is playing at home, against the team he scored his 1st ever a-league goal against, the scum, he will be pumped for this game.

Im just thinking in terms of who has a stronger head to headbutt Milligan in the chest with - Thus the reasoning of my hopes for Dyl to be in the starting lineup.
If Dyls starting, imho it gives him more time on the field to acheive this, or at least get one of the Griffos.

. no

. but i would like to see dylan get a decent go at it tonight (more than a token 5-10mins) ... and i think matty & dylan could work well together (unlike last week) - but any pairing is ok with me

But it seems people think Dylan should start simply for the fact that he should not be on the bench.

I have not seen him in training, but what has Dylan done to deserve his start? 2 goals as a sub, and 1 youth league goal.

And what has Matty seriously done to deserve being dropped, 5 goals in 8 games.

I know who id rather start.

I've been begging Lawrie to start me and Dylan together up front. The goals will fly in. We are the dynamic duo.

Just seen his goal on Fox, brilliant close control and great turn.

LOL at Milligan (he nearly played for Arsenal you know) for diving in like an under 6 player.

Surely if big Macca keeps up this vein of form, he should be considered for the Asian Cup Qualifiers against Kuwait and Indonesia in January.

Outstanding signing.
