ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Just want to send out my gratitude to Macca for his sterling actions after the game.  While the rest of the squad made a beeline for the sheds barely acknowledging the fans, Macca headed over to the sideline for a chat.  I've seen him do it a couple of times and he obviously has friends and/or family there.

After a chat he signed some autographs for those who'd gathered.

As he continued to the exit he kept signing eventually coming to me and my 7 year old daughter.  He couldn't have been more polite, gracious or kind.  Even though he'd played and was disappointed he was more than happy to sign hats etc and have a chat.  He apologised for the effort and said they'd do much better next game.

Hey, even if the result on Friday doesn't go our way (please, please let us win) he has some new fans.  A great, genuine guy.

Well done Dylan.

Thats really good to hear. He'd have every reason to be pissed off, losing the game and sitting on the bench all year, yet he still has time for that.

Hope he gets rewarded on friday vs the scum. Ive been quite impressed with him, shows good skills on the ball. Time to start a game and throw pressure on sasho and matt.

yeah he has shown that he is certainly good enough in the limited time he has had, and as we have seen with matty, game time is key(Aloi$i doesnt count :p)  and its good to hear that he is giving something back to the fans, thats how kids aspire to become future CCM players and socceroos etc is by meeting the players and by the players interacting, not just doing it cos Lawrie or whoever thinks its a good idea. And yes hopefully he tears the scum apart, that would be quite lovely

Mac must start alongside me for game v Scum. Simple as that. I regard him as almost as good as the great Matty Simon.

Give Hutcho the day off.

What was Lawrie thinking take of Adrian Caceres, was he injured & leaving some how shall we say players having a rough day at the office on?

Hate to be making the descion on who goes up front.

As a young kid, I was at an English domestic 1 dayer (the old John Player Sunday League I think) and we saw Tony Greig (then England captain) who was playing for his county (Sussex).

We went over for his autograph only to hear him say "f**k off all of you".

A few years later I was in the audience at a TV studio and got to see the great George Best spend about an hour signing autographs and chatting to his fans - yes I got it and my mum managed to throw it out during a clear up but thats another story........

Well done Dylan, you may have just ignited a passion in the next Tim Cahill.

Adrian looked dead for all money out there. He was not alone, but seemed the most tired to me. I was hoping porter would come on for him, and macca for simon/sash. Was devastated when clarke came off injured

I dissagree. I think Bozza was bitter that he did not get to play !

During the lunch both Lawrie and Bozza were saying that Danny deserved his spot and I think it was mentioned that IF we were a few points up towards the end, then Bozza MIGHT make an appearance. I agree though, he should have come round after the game, for those who didn't waste their money on the lunch.

I'd like to see him start this Friday but its tough deciding between Simon & Sasho for the subs spot.

I'd probably start Sasho with Macca and bring simon on at half time for whoever is not performing.

BTW how long till Mrdja is right to play??

Would you walk around take the wrap if you were sitting in that heat and watched that game and not been able to get a run.

I am sure he was doing media work inside for us and could not get out if you were that keen you should have went around the back to talk to him as he was the last player to leave ( as he has every week ) the ground he was talking to SBS as he said.

How much  publicity for CCM has Dylan been involved with I havent seen him on fox talking about us???

. bit harsh to compare dylan's media work to that of bozza

. the 'media' would be pushing dylan out of the way just to get a bit closer to bozza

Yes, I would walk around the ground. He owed it to the fans to take an extra 2 minutes to show his appreciation IMO

Never said I was keen to talk to him, already did on his 1st training session with us, but the other 9,000 fans who had watched him every week deserved a last goodbye IMO
