ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

It is a 700-tonne stage set worth close to $6 million and so big that it took 220 shipping containers to bring it from Holland.

He really needs his own edforce one.

Hopefully the shit pitch will suit us more than them.

Don't think so; Melbourne are the long ball specialists so the ground will suit them.

;D

Drove past Bluetounge today, whilst it was getting watered.. Grass is pretty much all green now.

Does anyone know what happened to the Telstra Dome?  I'm guessing it was excavated in that area for drainage works and then only recently returfed?

Hmmm disappointing that they couldn't better manage that event to preserve the playing surface.

Surely, it is a breach of contract or something.

Melbourne Victory agree to use the stadium and the Stadium agrees to provide a playing surface. Last night, they provided a slap to the face.

Bluetongue looks ok now.
As far as I know, pitch wasn't resurfaced, but has received extensive watering and has been covered in the rough patches for most of the week.
Covers are off today and there's still a few rough patches, but nothing in comparison to how it was. Should be fine by next game, even looking like it might be perfect! :)

Imagine what we'd be hearing if that was an AFL game.

What am I saying if there was an AFL game on after it it would have been scheduled for the Rod Laver Arena!
