Spain and Italy are both higher quality leagues in depth than the EPL IMHO

There are only 4 real quality sides and the rest are either just surviving or hoping for a cup run.

Look at the EPL teams progress in the UEFA cup, once the "big 4" are taken out of the picture there is v little quality left.

I understand your point, but Spain and Italy are rather similar in that sense though.

Look at Italy, it is pretty much always Juventus, Roma AC and Inter Milan that dominate it and in Spain you have mostly Barcelona and Real Madrid that dominate. Yes there are some teams that are up their such as Villareal in Spain, but really in all of those leagues, there is an entire different level of class seperating the Title chasers and everyone else.

villareal even pipped Barca for 2nd...not to mention sevilla coming outside top 4 and atletic madrid coming 4th and Valencia battling near bottom end of table etc.
