ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Well done mate ... next time ... if you guys sir behind a desk and wear coats ... will look heaps better... not trying to offend but you could do an A_league wrap and post on other football forums ... could be the start of something ....

Read the other day that a bunch of union rusted on Shutte Shield followers are so pissed off with their coverage they are planning to stream games live ... and charge a $60.00 per season charge .. YF are thinking a similar thing as Sky is looking at cutting back A-League coverage...

Hmm that one would pretty much fall into the "illegal" basket... unless the sheep shaggers have some way of getting around that? Do they have a judicial system over there?

You are right on the legal thing ... same with the Rugby boys to I guess ... my point was more there is aside from Fox ... and the Sad Bitter Shits there is no real accessible A-League shows to watch ... no reason to think a following of some kind could be created I am sure other forums would support it by simply watching ... and from small things bigger things grow sometimes... I think its worth a few bob on a desk and some coats ...

lol true. Being down in Melbourne last week I saw the massive difference in the way AFL is seen there to what NRL or Football is seen up here. It's just everywhere. Turn on the TV and if there isn't a game on there is a show talking about the game. Even channel 9 has a load of footy stuff on when they don't even show the games. And then there's the newspapers with coverage not just in the back few pages but all through it ... and not talking about how the players are going in court and who used what public place as a toilet this week (except maybe Fev, but he *is* Carlton). Then the radio stations with advertisements footy themed, talk show type programs constantly banging on about the games, and competitions loading you up with useless trivia about the game. Would be good to see "soccer" get to that stage one day ;)

Good work guys. Like the comments.

Impressive set of headphones you guys wear, they are up there with the headphones old Rex Mossop used to wear on Channel 7 when he called the Rugby League ages ago!  :tv:   ;D

(Hopefully Rex's tautologies won't haunt your calls.  ;D )

In saying that Big Ray Hadlee has similar headphones:

Great head gear and good Podcast to start the season. Surprised not one of our tipsters picked Adelaide for the play-offs - missed premiership on goal difference, robbed of fair go by 'look-at-me' Matthew Breeze in Grand Final and always very difficult to play against. Someone else is going to miss out on the play off spot...
