Andy Bernal just posted on Instagram basically saying he got a cease and desist threat from the club regarding his new book (whilst rich was still here)

He also said he recently found out that the club has now rescinded that letter and give him their full support regarding his new book.
VERY interesting. Club seemingly undoing some of Rich’s mistakes.

Maybe add to the membership pack next season

TBH Melbourne crowds - for both the longer-term clubs - are well down on years gone by.

Plenty of reasons for it but I think the Xmas derby incident permanently damaged the game's rep here.

It's weird too because the crowds for other codes here are maintaining or even increasing.

Then there's WUFC, don't even start me.

We seem to be signing a lot of new deals. Perhaps the past deals were not that great for the club but people don’t like change. Polytek is apparently the best sponsor deal the club has ever had. Why were they not on board earlier???

Dick tore up the deal with Mate on the third year of their contract because he wanted more money due to the fact that we were successful and did them dirty and signed up with Polytek.
I heard they are suing the club for breach of contract.

Not sure of the varacity of that story but I believe it to be true. (It may not be!)

I really wish that now Dick has bailed on us the club and MC in particular just admits all the staff dismissals were wrong, and we go back to how it was.

That doco did her no favors, came over very badly.

At one game she invited some bloke and their kid into the corporate area (presumably prospective sponsors) they stood up chatting shit blocked the view of some Gold Members. They were told to sit down by the members. Her reponse was......do you know who this is? The member replied....."I dont give a f**k who they are sweetheart, sit down......Alyssa's response was......"don't call me sweetheart".....rather than apologising.
I told the bloke who she was.....he looked shocked for a millisecond and then said "oh Gosh, damn her, the silly filly".....or possibly a saltier version lol.
