CALLING ALL LADIES!!

Shinpads - they are cheap ($16-20), but get big ones that fit.  The boys wear tiny plastic ones because they are tough, don't fall into that trap. Maybe borrow a pair until you get your own, but make sure they are washed first.

Haha we don't wear small shinpads because we are tough, it's because they allow maximum mobility and don't slow down your feet.  I'd recommend something that gives some protection for the ladies but just note that big clunky skinpads can be really annoying and can make it hard to control a ball.

Hahahaaaa!!  I don't think my big shin pads are the reason I'm slow, but it'll do for an excuse! I can see how people who do fancy stuff with the ball may prefer less stuff on their legs but some protection would be good.  Mick has the smallest piece of holey plastic for shin pads.  Its a worry.  From memory, I think Jimmy has sensible shin pads, like mine and he's pretty fast.

As an aside, my mum told me about her grandfather who played football, probably before shin pads. He had dents in his shins. That's tough.

Yeah!!  If Mrs Ted plays so hard she might break something sign her up!!
Hahaaa!!  In our games we hardly even touch each other.  She might break a nail if she plays in goals.

haha, nah she wont be swayed unfortunately. She prefers to ride a bike for exercise and I thought this would have been a great alternative for her for fitness. But alas, it is not to be.

Some players from my outdoor team this year got Nike Id .. and hardly wore them saying they were shit or something and dont buy overseas. Hope you have better luck with them.

Is it alright for me to wear my own kit ? Being black pants / silver top
Or do i have to blend with team?

Yeah man that will be cool. I can't see the teams getting proper kits anyway due to cost.

Ok I have a quote for shirts only (no shorts).

For 8 shirts (7 player and 1 keeper shirt) its $28 each. Very reasonable i think and I'm sure each team has or can get the same colour shorts and socks elsewhere.

$33 each if we want the team name on them

Mick and Jimmy were keen on both teams in the 2nd div. Obviously we will decide after Monday night one way or the other though.

What type of shirts are they Ted? As in quality wise?

I got some custom samples made for the Killarney District, but the club decided not to go through with them. Quality was decent mate. If I still had the sample I could have taken it on monday but I dont unfortunately.

The shirts we are contemplating are from the the basics range for economical reasons but would fine for what we require.

I think the shirts look great so far. The kds ones look good too.

Regarding volleys, as long as you bring a decent futsal player, i dont mind what you have on your feet. You play def/mid dont you Kareem ?

Which model is that eggy? Laser II's ?
