Champions Parade

I and a mate will be once again tripping down the F3 from Newcastle for the parade, Mariners GF flags firmly in hand. Can anyone suggest the best place for a quality coffee in Gosford CBD?

Seen Hutch out at the Haven today with "the seat" so asked if me and the kidlets could grab a pic with it. He was more than happy to oblige... and to be honest, happy to say he's one of the most welcoming guys I've met after having a quick chat with him.
It pretty much topped off an awesome day all round...... between spending the dawn service with my dad and a couple of quiet beers together, and getting the pic with 'the seat' and then watching him march this afternoon, I'll go to bed a very happy man tonight.:vhappy:

This one's for the kids - The workers miss out - Bit bummed really - The missus was spewing - Any way have a good day.

I reckon they should throw open the gates on Tuesday night - $5 Tickets no exceptions - Get as many as possible - You will earn more money from making the next stage (hopefully) plus allow heroes welcome & massive chants with a big crowd.

Tight arse Tuesday $5 entry would be perfect -
5,000 @ $20 = $100,000 vs. 15,000 @ $5 = 75,000 + atmosphere/celebration - That's how you connect with the coast - Then have the membership tent setup or at least get phone numbers to hassle em latter

It's for the retirees too, Big Al! :).

Looking forward to the parade. Sadly, my vintage Marinators scarf will not be at the event. It was lost in the heat of celebrations in Allianz Stadium on Sunday. :( If anyone reports finding one, let me know, as it has massive sentimental value.

Sorry my bad - Good luck finishing by say 1pm if the retirees are there. They love a chat although I hope a few of our heroes are nursing a nice big hangover this morning & had a win on the two up.

As for your scarf I'm sure I saw some bandwagon WSW pick it up & proudly swing it round there necks while throwing there brand new red & black shirts in the bin. Look for it at the next home game. They love a winner - SFC to WSW to CCM. They will be fighting over it.

just trying to watch video stream of parade while at work but no luck. hope it's a good turn out. not enough leave to take day off.
wondered if they considered kicking parade off around 4.30-5pm? still light enough, allows more workers to get there after knocking off, still early enough for kids, and would encourage kicking on at pubs, clubs, restaurants afterwards. good revenue for the town. maybe one to consider for ACL champions parade :)

credit to the council for the organisation of the parade today, fantastic event and one that the players well and truly deserved.

was great to hear Turnbull and Charlseworth state that the bills have been paid for, and hear their opinions about where the club is headed in the future. (also good to hear that the board will discount all tickets to $10 for tuesdays game).

The turnout from the central coast public was fantastic, way more than what I personally expected.

Bring on Tuesday night at 8:30 (i think)!!!

Both Charlesworth and Turnbull also made it quite clear in their speeches that it's a two-way street. And they are right. Time for the Central Coast community to step up to another level, just as our team has.
