I was speaking to one of the players who thinks it's in our favour to give more gelling time. She said the culture is already superb and everyone gets on really well, but even they feel like they are a new team of individuals playing until they get to know each other on the field - although it's improving rapidly.

We lose one fixture to the international break but the following weekend we were due to play Sydney and that has been postponed because they are playing in the AFC women's club championship from 5/11 to 11/11

Does anybody know the final formats for the ALW?

It has been top 4 in previous years but has it gone to top 6 now they have 12 teams? I have not seen where they have made any announcement on the subject (maybe they are waiting until later in the season to see how the likes of SFC and MC are doing before making a call ?)
