ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

That’s me done for the season, unless I have friends going. Same mistakes every weekend- unorganised defence, conceding the ball too easily in the final third. There’s been enough time to turn things around if it was simply a question of mentality of having an off game, but nothing has changed.
Yep.

I want to Believe, but there is nothing to Believe in! < Could be a good banner actually lol

Both of the penalty shouts were just as much penalty shouts as what wasn't called against Kaltak last week. Even then, they controlled the game and a penalty sadly would not have not been enough to give us any momentum.

They played quick, we played slow. predictable outcome. They got thier defense behind the ball and waited for us to over commit.

The xG stat surprised me a bit, since I don't think the own goal counts towards it?

We went better once the subs were on. Muaragis was back to being a liability again tonight.

Paull was the highlight again. Kuz did some great stuff apart from giving that ball away. Faisal and Alfie were much more effective than the players they replaced. DPC did ok.
We battled hard but lack quality.

Just watched the mini match. Our defense was atrocious. Some great saves from DPC and some close misses up front. We had some good spells but still turning the ball over cheaply far too much, not marking in defense, not fit enough and don't have enough mature players.

I tried to stay awake for this after night Flying and drifted off around 2am.

First time the Mariners have put me to sleep for a long time 🥺

I thought there were plenty of positives from last night. We were playing a very good football side.

When Kuol went off the movement and interplay was the best I have seen all season. Sash and Mauragis added so much to this attack and interplay but also weakened us defensively.

Miggsy and Heames are getting better every week and they were brilliant last night. The subs added to our play fit the first time this season.

I had a good chat to Simon Hill post game last night and said to him I believed the biggest change from last season was our fitness and injury list. He was unaware our Head of Performance lived in Melbourne and zooms in to staff at Tuggerah.

Last two seasons we ran over teams in the last twenty. This season teams are over running us.

Still, I was not too dismayed about last night. I am actually quite buoyant to see what Duarte, Miggsy and Doka could achieve together, with the support of Sash and Mauragis.
