Have to question the reason behind putting our top team on the pitch for a competition we're already out of.
One red card, 3 injured players, that's 4 top players possibly not available. Isn't this the game you put a weaker team on?
One highlight for me though....our Team Doctor showing his quads abductors and lower leg muscles, wearing shorts instead of trackies. Think he's got a lifetime pass to Anytime Fitness.

Good post. I know Brice and I said that when we were losing players from the squad at the end of last season that losing he would be one of our biggest losses. Very experienced at what he does and can pick when a player is at risk from load or injury. Such a shame he's left

Other AL sides are so much fitter and faster than we are. I think the Zoom guy isn't helping and if I'm Jacko I'd be blowing up.
The one thing that needs funding is S&C
S&C was sorted but it got messed with in the off season and staff changes were made. Look where we are now.
As the old saying goes if it ain’t broke why fix it

Understandable questioning the team selection, but also, I totally understood it. Jacko sent the strongest possible team out to try and build some momentum and maybe pull off a good result. Yeeeeeah that kind of backfired but we also got lucky. Apparently sains is fine and he was purely subbed as a precaution. Doka is apparently fine. Unfortunately we had no luck in Eddy’s fall, he’s probably out for the season if it’s a broken collar bone. It is what it is but I didn’t mind the reason behind the team selection.

Eyes are watching. It’s the premier comp. You don’t disrespect it and play a full kids team. Plus they would get destroyed and that’s not good for them or the club.

We don’t play this weekend so no reason not to play every one and start to gel as a team.

Never a red. I’m still blowing up.

They sent 25-30 office/support staff over with them and they decided to sit right in front of the ground announcers box. They celebrated like they’d won the World Cup when DPC saw red - not gonna lie it was pretty shameful and goes to show exactly how they planned to play it out.

Kuol copping undeserved hate (again). Toiled hard up front on his own. Glad he netted.

Pav was good when he came on. I did kinda tell you he was decent. Shame about the near post goal though.

Absolute masters of the dark arts, JDT. TBH, they’ve won the league 10 years in a row, scored something like 68088 goals in 18 games and conceded 8 so far this season. Hate it. Would’ve loved it if it was us. Yuck.

I hate football. f**kin shit game.

See you in Kawasaki next week.
The way the players and coaches celebrated the first goal was surprising. I think there was a lot of pressure on them to get the 3 points and help them qualify (which brings more cash) for the knockout.

Hard to remember Pav is only 22. I thought he was much older. Did maje some great saves but also still positional poor.

So what do we do next Tuesday? Surely we have to run out the b team?

Can't take DPC or kaltak. Edmo out. Likely doka and sains won't be risked.

I would have done it the other way around and given the fringe players a run out , the regulars a rest and looked to go to Japan to get some momentum into the back end of the season.

It’s different doing it because we have no choice vs choosing to do it.

DPC got the job because of a red. He might give it back over one.

Depending on the table the Japanese might put out a B team too (although we know that will still be a good team

They can still top the group or drop to 4th so seeding for the next round might be important.

J league also starts this weekend so they may want to use it to gain some momentum there as well.

A mid week rest this week, bye weekend, early trip to Japan and a good hit out next week - now that's a momentum builder
