Theo the commentator with Mossie is absolute garbage. As bad as that idiot from Newcastle.
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
I always said he had no judgment...Watching the replay at the moment. Criticism of Beni may be justified. That shot of his that hit the crossbar was crap. It definitely needed 2cm more dip to go in. Waste.
I’ve always enjoyed Teo on the call personally.Theo the commentator with Mossie is absolute garbage. As bad as that idiot from Newcastle.
Agree, heaps better than Scummer Homer. I get the feeling Moss does not really enjoy commentating with Homer as he makes some pretty ordinary comments and is always reminding Moss of his CCM failures.I’ve always enjoyed Teo on the call personally.

Yeh his call was good but he got up my nose with continually asking about what VAR was going to do at every chance. Commentators, in my opinion, have contributed to VAR being the problem it is, always looking for controversy.I’ve always enjoyed Teo on the call personally.
Yes, very well taken - I was directly behind the goal.If you have the chance, watch a replay of the goal by Kuol. At the match I thought it was superb. After watching it a few times on the replay I have decided it was brilliant. The run, the timing, the confidence, the first touch all outrageous for a 17 year old. It will be in the running for goal of the season. This kid is seriously good.

But how f**king good was the long ball forward? Dan Hall, was it?
I think there was one or too bits of drivel but I thought generally he was good primarily because he sticks mostly to his main role - a succinct description of what is happening on the field (and consistently naming the player with the ball -which is handy when you are watching teams you are not too familiar with). Too many commentators are more interested in giving you their opinions, talking about things not related to the game in front of them or worst of all, p!ss weak attempts to inject humour. Basically just rambling away for long periods with a game happening in the backgroundYeh his call was good but he got up my nose with continually asking about what VAR was going to do at every chance. When you look at both Kuols goal this week, and his one from the Cup, the biggest thing that stands out is composure. It looks so fluent for him to bang them in without a hint of panic.
We have had many many strikers in recent years who s**t the bed in front of goal, this kid makes hard opportunities look simple - at 17.
I don’t think we will see much of him in yellow, it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s gone this year. Damn he looks good.

Some even talk about games that never happened. Not sure if its the aleague or football in general, but the commentary seems to mostly be reminiscing about blah blah happened x years ago, last time these teams met, the last 14 times these teams met, or talking about other games in the round, other games in the previous round, other games in the next round, what the commentators ate for lunch, what the other lunch options were, basically anything except the game.
Backwards under those clowns but the skills are already there. But I take your point. TBH he would be crazy to leave and we would be f**king crazy to let him go.wombat ,do you believe jolic or milicic could develop miller's skills ?
or would he go backwards as curriculum football has done to every other player cursed with it ?
Much bigger money talks.Backwards under those clowns but the skills are already there. But I take your point. TBH he would be crazy to leave and we would be f**king crazy to let him go.
I legitimately hate hearing the negative stats for any team from the "side-kick commentators", it's such an off-putting discussion point when they are supposed to be highlighting, showcasing and promoting the league but any opportunity they get they pull out stupid stats like "This will be the 308th min the Mariners haven't scored against X club, how does that affect the X rating" blah blah...such rubbish and always makes me think the person who says it comes across as uneducated and can think of nothing important or of particular relevance to say other than a shitty negative stat for each team.
I wonder how much bigger though? Think about who they already have in the team, they would have to be close to the cap, wouldn't they?Much bigger money talks.
