ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Does Rogic still have a sell on clause or does him extending previously invalidate that? Because if it's still there we could be in for a nice bonus if his move to Qatar goes through.
Hey Midfielder, the basic update is that we are working through getting a prospectus and info pack ready for the expressions of interest that are coming in. We have fielded many expressions at the moment and will connect with each one over the next 4 weeks to ensure all options are explored extensively. By mid September we will progress the process to a Due Diligence phase and hopefully by the end of that some genuine options will become clearer. Lots of work to be done but the good news is there is plenty of interest in this initial phase.Shaun
Understanding how confidential things must be.... but any chance of a brief overview of where things stand ...

Under the old FFA it couldn't be moved but now independent A-League (IAL) means if the other owners agree to it then it can be moved. So all this hoo haa about another Canberra bid is on again...can someone confirm Our licence can’t be moved
As long as the offers don't include moving to Canberra.with Shaun's feedback that there are offers we're looking into.....I'm actually not worried about Canberra.
HAL isn't independent till the fox deal expires. IHAL can make decisions but FFA must rubber stamp. I can't see our licence moving when a new one could be sold for double.Under the old FFA it couldn't be moved but now independent A-League (IAL) means if the other owners agree to it then it can be moved.
Sadly, it's quite possible Canberra can buy our licence and move the club if it's the best offer MC gets. Hoping not, and I know everyone at the club is aiming to keep it on the Coast if at all possible.
Personally, I would think IAL would prefer to keep it on the coast and sell a NEW licence to Canberra for an actual input of $$. A sale by MC to Canberra means little in the way of $$ to IAL. Limited knowledge on how this would actually work though.
Well said - rather than the mealy mouthed bullshit as we collect yet another spoon, how about an honest "sorry"Whilst I’m not sure throwing a hand grenade back across the fence is the smartest thing to do (as in the closing paragraph) but wouldn’t it be refreshing if CCM reaches out to us fans with some humility at the end of yet another failed season?
Interesting to me Greg Best is one of the instigators of the crisis meeting. I haven't lived on the coast since about 06 but he was a councillor who used to get by on preferences and do fk all.Crisis meeting to keep Mariners on the Coast - Central Coast News
Central Coast Council is to facilitate a crisis meeting with the Mariners, State and Federal MPs and business leaders amid fears the A-League soccer club,coastcommunitynews.com.au
Has noone seen this?
I really don’t follow local politics but social media mentions of him seem really polarising.he was a councillor who used to get by on preferences and do fk all.
