ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

CCM - changing hands or Russians all over again?

Or do most fans feel the same way about most of their owners...

Yes I think there were some posts on the Swindle site that pretty much said that some fans were happy with Lee and others complain but couldn't say what they were complaining about. When I have time and I'm not tired I'll read up on what they say.

The problem with sale rumours is the lack of any closure. Unless we actually sell or the club comes out and categorically states we are not selling.
We got closure with the 'Russians coming' only after many years elapsed with nothing happening

Yeah these sort of deals must take a good while to put together even if they go through.

Which is a little worrying in that the eye is surely not on the club when you have a foot out the door.

But MC could just be looking to bring in an extra partner to provide an injection of capital to carry us through these building years until our profitability is enough to tip the balance on field.

Certainly not for the faint of heart or shallow of pocket being a football club owner.

Also the belt tightening makes us more attractive as we aren’t a club bleeding a stack of money which may be more attractive to a buyer or investor.
