ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

For all the talk of insurance being junk, the only time ive had to utilise it was for a knee reconstruction and i got the max $5k return. Not bad for the $60ish fee
Are you connected??.......because this sounds like bullshit!!! I will check with a mate who had to deal with 3 separate knee surgeries in one year to see if there is any truth

I know someone who got $200 for an $8k knee operation last season and that is under the new CCF insurance.

Doesnt look like the 2021 FNSW programme differs greatly from 2017 when i claimed.

Note: i elected to pay out of pocket for my reconstruction as i didnt have private health, so had significant non medicare covered expenses.

I wonder what prompted the reconciliation Mick?

I suspect CCF realised the enormity of their decision and how much work was needed in terms of governance, member protection and child protection. Especially in the light that CCF were not going to deliver cheaper football.

I also know that FFA were quite active in engaging CCF since the decision. Perhaps this engagement was fruitful.

Hmmm, let’s hope it was for the right reasons then, as having used the nuclear option once, it kinda makes it difficult for CCF to do it again if this late reconciliation doesn’t go well eh?
