ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Car Torched

A car was just set alight behind my place. The streets power went out first and not long after the inferno was flickering through the windows. Considering there is a nature reserve behind us, lucky only the car went up and nothing more.

I didnt get pics of the fire, I didnt even think to do so, but will get a couple tomorrow. I just feel sorry for the owner of the car.

I wonder why the power went out?  Was the car torched, or did it crash into a pole and catch alight?

nah mate I think they might have collided with a power box on the way in (or it was a coincidence?). They had to drive through a kids playground to get where they ended up.
Car was deliberately lit though.

At the end of my street there's a small patch of bush and there must be over half a dozen burnt out cars strewn throughout there - the bush itself used to go up several times a summer, hasn't for years now though.

Also, my RFS brigade trains at the quarry near the Bulls Hill speed camera.  There's an old section there which is pretty wide and flat, with a dam in there.  There's a good few burnt out cars in that section too - as well as the occasional time we see a not-so-burnt-out car bobbing in the dam :p

I guess threads like this serve to remind us that there are idiots out there who do steal cars, and it could just as easily have been any of our cars.

Personally, I think the punishment for this should be to get everything the perpetrator owns, put it all in a pile, and make him watch it burn.  Tit for tat.

I heard something about a life saving club being broken into last night. Not sure where or when exactly, but they might be related?? Might be the getaway car.

It is fairly unique looking too.

Looks like a Nissan N13 Pulsar made between 1987 and 1990.

Looks like your insurance is not going to come through...... once they read this thread ;)

Nah, if it were me it would have been backwards, upsidedown and on fire; I don't do things by halves ;)

It was originally tha shit brown of the Jets, which is just a combination of a normal brown and yellow.

The cleansing power of fire simply purged the poo particles off the car, revealing the more pure yellow particles :D
