ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Wednesday midweek game, 8pm kick off.
given the way the teams are playing atm, (arguably the two best teams in the competition), i'd be happy with a 1-1 draw.
anyone going to Club Tuggerah to watch?

That's blocked while I'm at work. I'll have a look when I get home.

Try Nearmap instead. Much more up-to-date maps anyway.

Cnr of Bryant Drive and Wyong Road, Tuggerah. Opposite the Bunnings/Supa-Centre. It's surrounded by tennis courts.

Thanks mate, I've got it now.
I don't often come to Tuggs, from down on the Peninsula it's more convenient for me to go to Erina for that kind of shopping.

Brad Porter picked up a knee injury in an intra-club practice match in Gosford today and was treated by the club's medical staff after the game. Not sure how serious it is might be more room on the bench when Musty comes back to the under 19's team although it would make our bench every much attacking(kwas, mrdja and musty).

Hmmm. The 442 article definitely says Amini was called to fly up. How long ago did that squad list come out?

EXCLUSIVE: Young Socceroo star Mustafa Amini was greeted in Sydney by a phone call from his A-League club today telling the playmaker he was in the Mariners first team squad for tomorrow night.
To see the Young Socceroos return home today...

Central Coast play Brisbane Roar on Wednesday night night at Suncorp Stadium and Mariners coach Graham Arnold has drafted the 17-year-old into his 15-man squad.

Amini, who’d just arrived in the country after the AFC U19 Championships in China, remained at the airport before hooking up with his Mariners en-route to the sunshine state later in the day.

After the highs of the AFC tournament this was just another piece of good news for the playmaker with the mixed Nicaraguan and Afghani heritage.

“I just got a call from the Central Coast today and I got to come back here at 3pm. So I’m in the 15-man squad. Hopefully Arnie gives me a go and I make my debut,” he told au.fourfourtwo.com.

Amini was just one of a number of Young Socceroos who caught the eye after a highly impressive run to the final before DPR Korea ended the dream with a 3-2 victory on Sunday night in Zibo.

Amini was still coming to terms with the loss but was proud of what Jan Versleijen’s side had achieved.

“It’s a great feeling to come runners-up," he said. "Second in Asia at U19 level - we got to the final for the first time.

"Could’ve bagged a win but …It just wasn’t our night. You could tell from the mistake at the end.

“All the boys played well. We actually played football, kept possession and we were the stronger team out there. We dominated everything.”

Amini’s highlight though was the quarter final victory over the UAE. The Young Socceroos triumphed 4-2 in extra time to confirm their spot at next year’s U20 World Cup in Colombia and set up a semi final showdown with Saudi Arabia.

"The UAE game. I scored in that game and it was the best feeling ever," he said. "The boys battled it out, it went to extra time and we went crazy. The best feeling ever."

He added: "The World Cup is the best thing ever."

Now A-League fans might get a look at this talented youngster in a Mariners shirt, adding extra interest for tomorrow night’s clash between two of this season's best performing sides.
