I really hate the system the way its set up now. Its set up too much like AFL, and the NRL or anything in America. I like the structure they have virtually everywhere else in the world with the league and the cup being separate. I however, don't mind the fact that ACL qualification comes from the "cup" winner, but I reckon there should be a separate Asian competition for cup winners ultimately.

I think finals are good simply because it attracts non-football viewers. Finals football is so attractive.

The team who won the premiership deserves an Asia spot, if for instance only one was given out you would give it to the minor premier. 2nd most deserving is the grand final winner. Now if it was that the Grand final winner was to be the Minor premier, it should go to the team that finished 2nd during the season, not the grand final runner-up.

I thought it was completly stupid last season that if we had beat Adelaide to make the Grand final we would have got the second asia spot, it should have gone to adelaide regardless of who won the final

It would have to be due to the timing ... so Sydney off to Honolulu ya?

Umm no it's not.

It has to be the loser of the Minor Semi because that's the only team that will have enough preparation to get to Hawaii in time.

The tournament starts on the 20th of Feb and the Preliminary final is on the 17th.
