Companies have been passing this dodge onto the public for a couple of years now. I cant remember the name of the firm that does it but I hope they have made $$$ out of it

I got back from bathurst today after arriving on wednesday and I for one absolutely loved it. The actual race was not breath taking but still entertaining and the whole entertainment package over the 4 days was very well done. The mini racing was a highlight, some awesome racing going on there. There was jets, helicopters, bikes, dragsters and support classes to keep things interesting. Bathurst absolutely shits on any other motor race in Australian IMO as its all about consistency, luck and endurance.

The technology isn't what gets me into it so much, otherwise I'd just watch F1 - I like the sound of a v8, the racing... when they are actually racing that is... they have gone a bit overboard trying to even the cars up that when you get half the field lapping within a tenth (of a second) of each other, that doesn't really give a lot of opportunity to pass someone, unless they make a mistake.

Next year they are introducing a softer compound tyre to mix things up a bit, so we'll see how that goes. Either way I can't miss Bathurst!!

Congrats to Ford on the hatrick.

However, bragging rights can only come to ford fans when they've got 8 in a row. AND Holden have currently got 25 wins against fords 15 or 16.
