ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

GGA = "lets go aussies lets go"

The game has passed them by but they are too busy making money out of fellow fans to realise it

Their efforts in Japan were.......... what's that old adage mothers would always tell us about not saying something if it wasn't nice??

The best bit of the night??  The CONSTANT waving of the giant flags even when the play was happening right infront of us.  Their response??  "You're in a supporters area, if you don't like it, f*ck off".  It wasn't until we pointed at the other end (Japanese Home End) and noted that they only waved their flags in an upwards manner during a break in play that they realised what they were doing was stupid.

Still, they persisted with it until they had nearly 1800 or so (all the non GGA Aussies over there) people yelling "put those f*cking flags down" (or something similar).

The pre-game function was well organised (so I'm told - apparently there was a cover charge so I never went), but that involved money, so I wasn't surprised to hear that.  At halftime, Aussie Shane from the Sydney forum came wandering down the front asking "I wonder how Trumper's bank balance is doing tonight".  Got many a lol for that.

Mick - I've been speaking to BenW the past few weeks about the Home End and a possible new approach, will PM you.
